The Commonwealth of Virginia requires that the Town’s Comprehensive Plan, Blacksburg 2046, be updated and reviewed at least once every five years. The Town also conducts annual amendments to the Comprehensive Plan.

The 2010 Annual Amendments to Blacksburg 2046 propose minor updates and changes to the Transportation Chapter, Paths to the Future Map and two citizen requests to amend the Future Land Use Map.

A public information meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 28 at 5:30pm in the large conference room of the Blacksburg Motor Company.  The Blacksburg Motor Company building is located at 400 South Main Street in Blacksburg.
