Agricultural and Forestal District Advisory Committee

The Agricultural and Forestal District Advisory Committee helps to protect much of the rural land which contributes to Blacksburg's unique character. The committee reviews all applications for the inclusion of forest and farmland in the Agricultural and Forestal District and makes recommendations to the Planning Commission and Town Council regarding the establishment, modification and termination of Agricultural and Forestal Districts. Membership is open to farmers and landowners.

The committee meets as needed when applications are filed.
